According to reports, Gichira had failed to be cleared by the electoral body as his papers were not in order

A Presidential candidate has been arrested by police after he attempted to jump off the sixth floor of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) office on Sunday, May 28.
Solomon Gichira, an independent candidate is said to have been angered after his papers were rejected by the electoral body.
