ACT WAZALENDO WILL MEET ON MGHWIRA'S APPOINTMENT WITHOUT ZITTO
As ACT-Wazalendo is expected to hold a meeting today, to discuss how the national chairlady Ms Anna Mghwira who was appointed Kilimanjaro regional commissioner will cover her duo responsibilities, the party's national leader Mr Zitto Kabwe will not be there.
Mr Zitto will start a ten-day working visit on Wednesday, in four European countries including Germany, England, Sweden and Denmark. He is expected to attend the national congress of Die Linke party in Germany before having private discussion with his European counterparts.
According to media statement issued on Tuesday by the party’s Secretary for ideology publicity and communication Mr Addo Shaibu, the trip aims at cementing the relationship with their fellows from Europe.
Mr Shaib said, in his absence, Zitto’s responsibilities will be covered by chairman of campaign and electoral committee Mr Samson Mwigamba, who will act the position for ten days.
He said, Ms Mghwira has already discussed with her fellow leaders on her new responsibilities, soon after her arrival from abroad.
