TWO PEOPLE SHOT IN KIBITI BY UNKNOWN PEOPLE
Kibiti. Two police traffic officers who were shot by unknown assailants have been identified as Sergeant Salum and Constable Masola, according to information from the police.
The two police officers, not one as reported earlier, were injured after unknown people shot them at Bungu B village in Kibiti.
According to eye witnesses, the assailants, who were riding on a motorcycle, opened fire to the police who were on duty along the Dar es Salaam - Mtwara road.
