TWO SHOT DEAD IN PANGANI AFTER FAILED ATTEMPT TO ROB MAMA MBOGA

Two suspected thugs were on Wednesday evening shot dead by police officers in Pangani after they tried to rob a businesswoman who sells groceries.

According to the victim, she was confronted by three young men brandishing a pistol and a knife.

The woman raised an alarm and police officers who were on patrol responded and shot dead the two suspects while a suspected accomplice escaped.

Police recovered one homemade pistol with two rounds of ammunition and two knives. The bodies were taken to City Mortuary for postmortem and identification.

FOUND BODY

In Embakasi, the body of man with injuries on the neck and head was found lying by the Road side of North Airport road.

Police suspect he was murdered elsewhere and then dumped at the scene. His body was transferred to Chiromo Mortuary for autopsy.

Another unidentified body was on Wednesday afternoon found in Kilimani days after a fire incident.

A tenant who went back to see if he could salvage anything from his former house found the body which police said they could not identify because it was burned beyond recognition.

The body was taken to City Mortuary for identification and autopsy.
