From 2016-2021, Jhpiego and its partners, Amref Health Africa in Canada (Amref) and the Canadian Association of Midwives (CAM), will support the Tanzania Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (henceforth referred to as MOH) to fulfill national priorities for maternal and newborn survival and address inadequate numbers and inequitable distribution of human resources of health for midwifery care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of the Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) to capture project performance and results, including routine service delivery data reporting, baseline and endline assessments, and all monitoring for process and outcome evaluations
- Develop and oversee data flow pattern for MBM-RTz that will ensure timely data collection and reporting
- Lead results reporting to DFATD by providing written documentation on M&E activities and indicator results for progress and annual reports, as appropriate
- Provide leadership and direction on M&E to ensure the MBM-RTz technical and financial integrity to achieve MBM-RTz and corresponding objectives and targets
